Cancer research community, since ages have not been able to make the body’s immune system strong enough to fight against tumor cells. It is a known fact that tumor cells emerge from healthy cells only and the features of these tumor cells are strong enough to make the body’s immune system vulnerable towards them.
Thus the immune system can be made intelligent enough to distinguish between healthy cells and tumor cells. This thought was also supported by several trials of therapeutic cancer vaccines, which effectively shrunk tumors in cell cultures in the lab.
